3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF-10, woven from 312 Grade continuous filament ceramic 600 denier served roving, is designed to withstand continuous temperatures up to 2200°F (1204°C). Light weight with low air permeability, AF-10 is ideal for high temperature industrial and aerospace applications, and is available both sized and heat cleaned. Standard width: 38 inches.

These fabrics outperform the useful limits of other high temperature textiles such as aramids, carbon, quartz or glass. 3M™ Nextel™ woven fabrics are true ceramics. They are oxidation resistant, chemically inert, lightweight, electrically insulating, flexible, and fire, flame and heat resistant to temperatures of 2192°F (1200°C).
