3M™ Repulpable Double-Coated High Strength Flying Splice Tape 9977 is a 4.0 mil, high strength, hemp fiber-reinforced tissue, coated on both sides with a blue, high tack, high shear strength, repulpable adhesive. The tape is furnished on a repulpable easy-release kraft liner.
Offers Excellent Heat Resistance for Flying Splice and Core Starting Applications
Our 3M™ Repulpable Double-Coated High Strength Flying Splice Tape 9977 is ideal for use on heavyweight coated papers, including flying splices and temporary overlap splicing of many paper and cellulosic materials. With heat resistance of up to 400ºF (204ºC), this tape is often used for high temperature overlap splicing of many foils, plastic films and papers in major industries, including paper mills, printer converters and general web handling.
