This versatile product has a relatively large particle size with good electrical and mechanical properties. Fluorine Makes the DifferenceQuite simply, fluorine makes the difference. Fluoropolymers like Dyneon PTFE TF 1641 are outstanding materials, created by the presence and dominance of fluorine. Fluorine imparts special properties to fluoropolymers that make the difference for the polymer and the application. Like many 3M PTFE products, the presence of fluorine gives Dyneon PTFE TF 1641 broad chemical resistance and an excellent operating temperature range. This PTFE meets ASTM D4894 Type IV, Grade 2.
