3M™ Electrostatic Animal Guard is a patented electrostatic barrier which attached to energised electrical insulators and bushings rated up to 35 kV.
The guard consists of rugged plastic with metal spokes radiating outward. When an animal touches the spokes , it receives a mild electric shock similar to those generated by electrified livestock fences.
