What happened to Capital Safety?
In August 2015, 3M completed its acquisition of Capital Safety, a leading global provider of fall protection equipment. As a result, Capital Safety became part of 3M's Personal Safety Division and will be known in the future as 3M Fall Protection.

Will DBI-SALA® and Protecta® products still be available?
Yes, virtually all products formerly available from Capital Safety are now a part of the 3M Fall Protection portfolio. You can continue to purchase these products from your current local 3M Fall Protection (formerly Capital Safety) authorized distributor.

Will I continue to work with the same distributors?
Yes, we are working with our channel partners so they will be able to continue offering the same quality products and service you previously received from Capital Safety.

Will 3M’s previous fall protection product offering change?
Yes, 3M has discontinued their legacy fall protection products, but will continue to offer product support as needed. For product support on discontinued 3M Fall Protection products, contact Customer Service at 0800-252-627.

Will 3M continue to honour Capital Safety product warranties?
Yes, all existing product warranties will remain in effect per Capital Safety’s Terms & Conditions. For product support for DBI-SALA® and Protecta® products, you may continue to contact Customer Service at 0800-252-627 or via website@capitalsafety.com.

Will I continue to work with the same Capital Safety employees?
